Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A presentation of the NAK-NBU co-branded banking card of the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held in the capital.

This card, issued in cooperation with the Uzbekistan Airways and the Visa international payment system, is a novelty for the residents of Uzbekistan. Its advantage lies in the fact that when making daily purchases of goods and services, the cardholder earns points.

After accumulating a certain number of points, they can be spent on acquiring a free ticket for the Uzbekistan Airways flight in any direction to which the accrued number of points allows, or on upgrading the service class.

The NAK-NBU co-branded card can be issued at the bank at the request of the client, either in national currency or in US dollars. If to open a Visa Gold card, the cardholder need to replenish a card account with 150 thousand soums, and a Visa Platinum card with 250 thousand soums, then to activate a NAK-NBU card the minimum amount will be 400-800 thousand soums or US$50-100, and points will be credited to depending on the type of card.

The client received an additional Welcome bonus during opening of the card, which includes a 1000-mile flight, traveler insurance, concierge service - booking hotel rooms around the world, booking air tickets and assisting in their purchase, meeting and wires.

Also, owners of such banking cards are given discounts in the amount of from 5% to 20% on goods and services of partners of the international payment system Visa.

NAK-NBU brand card will be launched from 1 February 2019.
