The purpose of the workshop was to discuss achievements of the technical assistance (TA), including the results of the skills survey, skills monitoring, outline of proposed project and other discussions.
Aykan-Invest in partnership with Kunhwa Engineering and Consultants (South Korea) and Sunjin Engineering and Architecture (South Korea) signed a contract with the Republican Road Fund under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan to implement the project “Development of regional roads of local importance”, which is funded by World Bank.
Consulting services (“Services”) include implementation of:
• Technical evaluation of design estimates and tender documents;
• Technical supervision, protection of ecological and social environment during reconstruction of 87 km of local roads in Tashkent region;
• Daily management of work during implementation of repair work on site;
• Assistance in financial and contract management of works.
The State Committee of Uzbekistan on land resources, geodesy, cartography and the state cadastre (Goskomzemgeodeskadastr) organized workshops on October 22, in Samarkand, and on 25 October, in Tashkent, to present a World Bank-supported project designed to improve public services in the area of cadastral and real property rights registration.
On August 1, the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations (MOL) held a meeting with representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) within the framework of the project "Training of personnel for industrial modernization and inclusive growth in the Republic of Uzbekistan".
Representatives of AYKAN-INVEST took part in the seminar training programme “Preparation of Uzbekistan for access to the resources of the Green Climate Fund (GCF)", which took place on February 15, 2017 in Business Center "Poytaht".
On October 29, 2014, the Government of Uzbekistan and the World Bank signed the Grant Agreement Number 018066 on the implementation of the Improving Pre-Primary and General Secondary Education Project (hereinafter referred to as the Project). The Project, which is aligned with the Education Sector Plan for the Republic of Uzbekistan 2013-2017 (ESP), is being implemented since January 2015, and will close in January 2018.
On 23 July 2016, representatives of AYKAN-INVEST participated in the event “Open dialog between entrepreneurs and government representatives”, which was held in conference hall of Radisson BLUE hotel, Tashkent. The event was organized by movement of entrepreneurs and business people of Liberal-Democratic Party (UzLiDep) of Uzbekistan.
AYKAN-INVEST Co. Ltd is shortlisted for “Solid Waste Management Improvement” improvement project financed by Asian Development Bank (Loan 3067 - UZB).
Representatives of AYKAN-INVEST participated in the Session of Economic Mission of Austrian companies in Uzbekistan in April 18 – 19, 2016. The session was held in conference hall of Wyndham Hotel, Tashkent. The event was organized by Trade Department of Austrian Embassy.
The subject of study was the markets of residential and commercial properties, as well as market of property development services on the territory of Tashkent city and Tashkent region and Samarkand city and Samarkand region.
AYKAN-INVEST was shortlisted for the following projects:
- Development and Implementation of Communication Campaigns (GPE/QCBS/113/1);
- Developing Training Materials for the Implementation of the Half-day Model of Early Childhood Care and Education (GPE/QCBS/125/1)
AYKAN-INVEST was shortlisted for the consulting services project “Preparation of logistic, marketing strategy and institutional development of the company” financed by World Bank within“The Construction of Electrified Railway line Angren-Pap” project (AP-CS-5).
Currently “Aykan Invest” is carrying out marketing research for JSC “Djizakskiy Akkumulyatorniy Zavod”.
Consulting team of “AYKAN-INVEST” completed the project “Development of communications strategy and public awareness raising campaigns for Samarkand (SOVK) and Bukhara (BVK) water utility companies”.
